For summertime fun nothing beats splashing around and cooling off in the water. I have never seen a child who didn't love playing in the water.

Water slides have been popular attractions at amusement and water parks for years, now your children and their friends (and even you) can enjoy that same fun at home with inflatable water slides . These home water slides are sure to not only cool you off but they will also bring tons of fun to your backyard.

The large inflatable water slides come with a blower that is used to blow them up. Most claim that they will fully inflate the slides in under five minutes. All you have to do then is add the water and turn the kids loose.

Backyard Water Slides are Great for Kid's Parties

Summertime parties just beg to be held at a pool or some other place with water for the kids and adults to play and cool off in.

Lots of parents rent an inflatable water slide for their child's birthday party or other parties and gatherings with family and friends.

If you have been considering renting one, you might want to think about buying one. You can purchase one of the backyard water slides for about the same amount of money and use it over and over.

Lots of Inflatable Water Slides to Choose From

Banzai water slides are considered to be the best by lots of people.I don't know if the are the best water slides, but I do know that they offer a huge, and I do mean huge variety of water slides to choose from.

They offer water slides in all shapes and sizes from slides that are something as simple as the Banzai Slip 'N Six Pins which is a sixteen foot long inflatable slide complete with inflatable bowling pins that your child knocks down by sliding down the slide.

Then there are the large water slides like the Banzai Pipeline Twist Aqua Park which has two slides, a climbing wall, and two water cannons for lots of water splashing fun.

If you don't find something you like from Banzai, Little Tykes and several other manufacturers offer many different fun water slides as well.

Blow Up Water Slides Require a Little Care

While the water slides are made of durable material, all of the inflatable water slides I looked at came with a patch kit to repair those rips and tears that are sure to happen when you mix kids and inflatables.

It is not recommended to leave the slides inflated when you are not using them. They are made to be fairly easy to inflate and deflate with the included blower.

Be sure to let the slide dry before storing. One thing to note, most of them come with a bag that is supposed to be used for storage, one parent said trying to put the water slide back in the bag was like trying to put toothpaste back in the tube, so you might want to skip trying to use the storage bag.

With a little care your new water slide should offer your children hours of summertime fun.

Mine may water the lawn around it, but it sure kills it where it was laying. But the kids love it so much I just think of it as less to mow.
